I finally made socks!!

Ok, I know it may seem like a random thing to be excited about, but I’m super happy that I was able to knit socks lol! I’ve tried before and it went horribly wrong. This time, I found a pattern that included lots of video help as well as written help and it let me make both socks at the same time! Staci Perry at verypink.com has an amazingly simple 2 at a time toe-up sock pattern using magic loop instead of DP (double point) needles. It is a paid pattern but totally worth every penny!!!! You get the pattern for worsted weight yarn as well as for sock yarn so you get 2 patterns in 1. She has a lot of other great patterns but I’m over the moon with her sock pattern! Check it out at:

You won’t be sorry!!

Current projects

Just popping by to show you all what I’ve been working on. Hope everyone has a fabulous day!!

Check out this awesome home decor site!

Hey all! I recently purchased a dress form online and got to meet a talented lady with an eye for decor. She gave me tips for running a small business and I had a great time talking “shop” with her. If you love home decor or want tips on decorating your home, you should check her out! I’m loving her recycled/upcycled bottles ♥

Anywho, here are links to her site and her Facebook page. Show her some love!

I’m still here XD

Hey all! I know it’s been a while since I posted, so I figured I’d add a small update. I’ve been working on several new patterns as well as working on bereavement donations for angel babies. I recently found out that my local hospital is in need so I’ve been whipping up bonnets, beanies, and blankets between working on my bigger projects. I just listed a new cardigan in my shop. If you like boho/gypsy style, you should check it out! I’m off to make more pretty things!

♥ Much love to all ♥

Please help this family!

This is out of the norm here, but I’m asking for help from all of you. I personally know the family in the fundraiser linked below and they are in need of our help. I have donated what I could and am asking everyone for help as well. Even if it is only $5, or even just $1, it all helps. Spread the word via your social media sites, shares help too! For the entire month of July, 100% of the profits off all sales I make will be donated to help them. Tim and Misty are good people that are getting the run around by a less than stellar social services. Let’s all work together to help them get their daughter home!

Quick update

Hi all! I hope everyone had a great Easter! I’ve been working on a few different projects (cause I can’t stay focused on just one lol). Currently making another Jennika scarf, a Jennika slouch, a skirt, a small purse, and an argyle purse. For anyone interested, the Jennika set is an original pattern by Melody Rogers. She has lots of great patterns for crocheters and knitters alike and does these awesome Mystery Create-A-Long’s. Pop over to http://melodys-makings.com/ and show her some love! The skirt and purses (I’ve changed mine some from the original pattern) are original patterns by Jessie over at http://jessieathome.com. She also has some great patterns! Pop over and show her some love too! You won’t regret it 🙂

Just a quick update :)

Just completed my first Instagram giveaway and I feel it was a success. The giveaway was for a custom set of my Unforgettable Cabled Fingerless Gloves in the colorway that the winner chose (Cappuccino, in case anyone was curious). Now I’m trying out a pattern for a cute skirt. So far, so good, lol. I will upload pictures later on, if it continues to work out XD. For now, I’m just trying a little of everything until I find my niche. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m always open to hear them 🙂 Have a great day/night!!
